AAVA Attended the Lithgow Ironfest event at the Lithgow Show Grounds on 25th through 27th April.
Our activities during the long-weekend included participation in the sombre commemoration of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service and later in the ANZAC Day parade through the Main Street of Lithgow. We even made the front page of the Lithgow Mercury newspaper on the 26th.

AAVA joined with the Lithgow Living History and Ausreenact groups to create WWII battle scenes with WWI Aussie troops, US Airborne and Infantry as well as Wehrmacht and WWII Soviet troops.
